- We've all been there as writers when the muse has fled the room only to find her stuffing her face with left over pumpkin pie and chocolates. We know how fickle she can be; raining ideas upon ideas until we drown at one moment and then giving us nothing but headaches the next. Melette was the Muse of practice and occasion but I feel that maybe she would be the Practical Muse. One that would rise to the occasion to bring writers together to share, talk, and battle the flightly muse that haunts their writing spaces. This is a writing group for all writers regardless of genre or type. Whether you write novels or whether you write freelance. All are welcome here and hopefully our practical muse will bring yours to heel.
